Science Fair 2017

Laurus International School of Science will hold Science Fair which our science teachers gather from Laurus group’s schools that give STEM education in Japan. We provide this event only once a year, so please don’t miss the chance that you can enjoy our amazing science activities together. This event is designed for Kindergartners and elementary students. Admission is free. We look forward to welcoming you to Science Fair. Let’s have fun together.

Children can learn Robotics, Programming, VR, Biology, Chemistry and Physics from the specialized STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics) workshop and exhibition.

*Places are limited and reservations must be made in advance online.

*We don’t have any parking for guests, please come by public transport or use the coin-operated parking nearby our school.

*Please bring your slippers / inside shoes. Thank you.

●Science adviser, Yoshinori Asahi-sensei.
Yoshinori Asahi was born in Kyoto, Japan. He received the B.Sc., M.Sc., and Dr. Sc. degrees in chemistry from Kyoto University, Kyoto, Japan. He had been engaged in the development of Silicon semiconductor devices for more than 20 years in an electrical manufacturing company. He was a Visiting Scholar at Applied Electronics Laboratory of Stanford University, Stanford, CA, where he studied process and device modeling of semiconductor devices. Later he had been working in the field of Technology CAD application to semiconductor device development in a software company.
