Application Period; Preparing Forms & Fees
We maintain flexible enrollment throughout the year, though certain grade levels fill quickly. Here's what to keep in mind:

Application closes as soon as it reaches enrollment capacity. Please contact us to inquire about vacancies at your preferred location.

Class of 2025: From time to time our schools are accepting additional applications. We invite you to contact each of the schools for more information. For the year 2026, we are accepting applications for new K1 (Da Vinci class) students.

We accept application for the Year 2026-27 by 26th September. After that individual requests throughout the year and review applications on a case-by-case basis.

We accept individual requests throughout the year and review applications on a case-by-case basis. However, please note that the deadline for transferring into Year 10 (US grade 9) is 31 October of each academic year. Following that, applications will only be accepted if the student had been studying IGCSE at their previous school.

Examination Fee
Preschool: ¥2,200 (no exams; trial lesson fee); Kindergarten: ¥10,000; Primary: ¥25,000 ; Secondary: ¥30,000

What We Look For; Eligibility & Assessments
Our review process differs depending on your child's age and developmental stage. These interactions help us create the best possible match.
Preschool & Kindergarten applicants (ages 1.5 - 6): We focus on developmental readiness, curiosity, and family alignment with our STEM-enriched early childhood philosophy. There are no academic prerequisites—just a conversation about your child's interests.
Primary and Secondary applicants (ages 6 +): We consider academic records, language proficiency, alignment with our values around innovation and independent learning, student readiness for a UK curriculum pathway, and family commitment to our educational approach.

Admissions assessments are required for certain grade levels (see below). Our Receptionists/ Admissions team will notify you on the timing.
Grade Level Requirements:New Preschool and Kindergarten students do not have an admissions assessment, however attending a trial lesson is required (kindergarteners have in-class assessments for English reading, writing and speaking).
Primary & Secondary students are assessed for their English and Math competencies.
Results are available within one month of completing the assessment.

While children will be assessed for English reading, writing and speaking during the admissions examination, parents are not required to have English-language ability. Please note that for Primary and Secondary, all written communications with the Laurus team are conducted in English.

K2 (Darwin class): 4 years old as of April 1st 2025
Year 1 (Einstein class): 5 years old as of April 1st 2025
Preschool
Newton class:
From 1.5 years old
Galileo class:
From 1.5 years old
*Application is available after your child is 16 months old.
Secondary School
Lower Secondary:
Over 11 years old as of September 1st 2026
Upper Secondary:
Over 15 years old as of September 1st 2026

Over 6 years old as of September 1st 2026
