Discover Learning at Laurus

Our inquiry-based, project-based curriculum - The Laurus Innovator Program - deep dives into science, technology, engineering, math, and entrepreneurship, combining essential classroom learning with opportunities for practical application.
Learning Vision
Fostering Innovation Through Excellence
In an era defined by worldwide challenges that require innovative and cooperative solutions, education emerges as a crucial driver for transformation, offering the essential foundation for a sustainable future. Creativity and ingenuity shine the brightest, and fostering these skills prepares students to tackle complex challenges. In our mission to foster innovators and entrepreneurs, we look to the concept of Excellence as a living, breathing part of our school, measured and managed in four key areas:
Culture
Environment
Facilities
Pedagogy
At Laurus, we guide students in developing these six qualities necessary to become innovators.
A focus on project-based learning is critical to our commitment to excellence.
Project Based Learning (PBL) is an effort to solve real-world problems by working on a single project over a period of weeks or months. Students learn across subject areas of math, science, E&T, and social studies.
This PBL is based on the Process of Engineering. Students learn through the process of discussing a problem, imagining a solution, making a plan, creating a prototype, testing and improving it, and sharing it with others. Through this iterative process, students develop lifelong skills and important aspects of character.
