We offer a continuous learning pathway from Preschool all the way to Secondary School.
Our PRESCHOOL & KINDERGARTEN SUMMER CAMP is a much-loved annual event, running for 1 week and open to non-Laurus students. Have siblings? Discover our Primary Summer School (Ages 6-11) and Secondary STEAM Summer Programs (Ages 11-15).

Get ready for a hands-on adventure at STEAM Camp!
Laurus International School of Science invites young explorers to embark on a week-long journey in the wild! Preschoolers and kindergarteners will explore the Savannah - meeting lions, crafting dioramas, making music and discovering amazing animals and plants.
This engaging program is designed to inspire young minds, ignite creativity and deepen the understanding on the various interconnected elements of our natural world. You will learn, play and make friends every day. Pack your creativity and let’s explore the Savannah together!

Our little explorers begin their journey with hands-on fun! By crafting standing animal puzzles and playing with shadows, they’ll dive into the savannah world while boosting imagination and fine motor skills.Kindergarten
The savannah comes to life with a virtual safari, a gooey quicksand experiment, and a classroom safari hunt! Children will move, observe, and imagine as they step into the world of wild animals. -
Preschool
ROAR! Children will craft lion masks, wear them with pride, and become kings and queens of the savannah. With playful roars and bold imagination, they'll learn through dramatic role play.Kindergarten
Inspired by African art, students will create vivid lion portraits in the Tingatinga style. They'll observe paw prints and learn about predator life! -
Preschool
Sunlight, wind, and rain—children will discover nature’s moods through colorful crafts and shadow experiments. A day of sensory exploration and creative expression!Kindergarten
A cloud-in-a-jar experiment shows how rain forms, followed by a lively rain dance. With science and movement, kids explore the savannah's unique climate in a fun, active way. -
Preschool
Children will build a towering baobab tree and test their balancing skills through a playful stacking game. Along the way, they’ll learn about this iconic African tree.Kindergarten
From the texture of leaves to the tiny bugs that hide in the grass, children will investigate the savannah’s plant life through close observation and creative rubbings. -

Let’s listen to the wild! With handmade rain sticks and African instruments, children will explore sound through rhythm, vibration, and group music play.Kindergarten
Through drum-making, soundwave experiments, and animal sound guessing games, students will explore how sound works—and end the week with a joyful rhythm!

CANCELLATION POLICY
If a parent/guardian wishes to cancel or change the course after registration, a handling fee of 1,000 yen will be charged. After the registration deadline, kindly note that course changes and refunds will not be made.
Important Information for Enrolled Students
What to Bring
Please write your name in English on all of your belongings.
Please bring a water bottle, cutlery, inner shoes, and hand tissue.
Health & Safety
For students with allergies, please bring your own lunch as we are unable to provide lunch for students with allergies during seasonal events.
During seasonal events we are unable to accept students requiring the use of an EpiPen due to the lack of medical staff available.
Since the administration of medication to children is a “medical procedure” as defined by law, we do not have permission to administer medication to children. Therefore, as a general rule, we are not able to accept medication at the school or on the school bus.
Insurance
International participants must purchase travel insurance. If you do not have travel insurance and become ill or injured while attending our seasonal event, you will be responsible for your own medical expenses.
