Laurus International School of Science invites young explorers to embark on a week-long journey in the wild! Preschoolers and kindergarteners will explore the Savannah - meeting lions, crafting dioramas, making music and discovering amazing animals and plants.

This engaging program is designed to inspire young minds, ignite creativity and deepen the understanding on the various interconnected elements of our natural world. You will learn, play and make friends every day. Pack your creativity and let’s explore the Savannah together!

WHEN: July 21-25, 2025

WHERE: All Laurus Preschools & Kindergartens except Musashi-Shinjo (see location map)

ENROLLMENT OPTIONS:

  • 8:30 to 18:00 (Full day)

  • 9:00 to 14:00 (5-hours)

PAYMENT

A few days after submitting your application form, you will receive payment instructions via SMS. Payment can be made at convenience stores* or via internet banking. More details may be found here: My payment guide

CANCELLATION POLICY

If a parent/guardian wishes to cancel or change the course after registration, a handling fee of 1,000 yen will be charged. After the registration deadline, kindly note that course changes and refunds will not be made.

Important Information for Summer Students

What to Bring

Please write your name in English on all of your belongings.

Please bring a water bottle, cutlery, inner shoes, and hand tissue.

Health & Safety

  • For students with allergies, please bring your own lunch as we are unable to provide lunch for students with allergies during seasonal events.

  • During seasonal events we are unable to accept students requiring the use of an EpiPen due to the lack of medical staff available.

  • Since the administration of medication to children is a “medical procedure” as defined by law, we do not have permission to administer medication to children. Therefore, as a general rule, we are not able to accept medication at the school or on the school bus.

Insurance

  • International participants must purchase travel insurance. If you do not have travel insurance and become ill or injured while attending our seasonal event, you will be responsible for your own medical expenses.
