What is Copernicus Olympiad?

The Copernicus Olympiad stands as one of the world's most prestigious international competitions, challenging students in Mathematics, Physics, Astronomy, and Natural Sciences. In September 2025, New York City hosted the 6th Global Round, bringing together exceptional young minds from 26 countries across the globe.

More than just an academic competition, the Olympiad creates a vibrant platform for global friendship and cross-cultural exchange, where students forge lasting connections while pursuing excellence. Top performers were recognized with prestigious awards including Meta Quest 3 headsets and iPads, underscoring the event's dedication to celebrating and encouraging exceptional young talent.

This year, Laurus has every reason to celebrate: two of our outstanding students achieved the remarkable feat of earning PERFECT scores in Category 2 and Category 3, securing #1 world rankings in their respective categories. This extraordinary accomplishment reflects not only their exceptional mathematical abilities but also their unwavering dedication and hard work.
