Feedback from parents and children who participated in our winter programs
My son particularly loved making the teddy bear from a hand towel. Activities like this, where children can be creative and hands-on, are so meaningful for him — we hope similar activities continue in future camps.
We'd read each of the storybooks at home in Japanese, so understanding them in English deepened her learning even more. She got to make something different every day and had so much fun — making ramune candy was her favorite part!
He had such a wonderful time — he still treasures the picture-book booklet from the program and reads it again and again. It was our first time joining Laurus, and we're so glad we did.
Although my child is a Laurus student, they were delighted to play with children from outside the school. Meeting a child with strong English skills also seemed to inspire them. They even started using the finger puppets they received to put on puppet shows before bed. They truly enjoyed the whole week!
