Programme Overview

Young Entrepreneur Challenge

A five-day STEAM Winter Programme for Secondary students. Through the Young Entrepreneur Challenge, students explore how responsible businesses can reduce waste, make better use of resources and create value for their communities. Working in English, they turn sustainable ideas into practical projects.

Think like an entrepreneur. Act for the planet.

Students work in teams to prepare a second-hand clothing and books market and create products from materials that might otherwise be discarded. A festive excursion provides inspiration for engaging customers before they plan and deliver a student-led market for families.

Circular Economies in Action
Explore how recycling and upcycling can extend the life of products and minimise waste.
Upcycling with Purpose
Turn discarded clothing into a useful product through hands-on design and making.
Teamwork and Responsible Business
Plan a family market while balancing commercial goals with social and environmental responsibility.
Sustainability
Explore how companies can conserve energy and be more sustainable in the long term.
