About the Event

What is STEAM Fair?

Laurus STEAM Fair is a celebration of science, technology, engineering, art, and mathematics hosted by Japan's only Science International School.

From student-led research presentations to hands-on workshops with cutting-edge technology, our fair offers inspiring experiences for curious minds of all ages.

Since 2016, we've brought together world-class experts, innovative companies, and passionate young learners to explore the frontiers of science and creativity.

Our STEAM FAIR Journey

A Decade of Discovery

2016

First Science Fair launches at Shirokanedai campus, featuring eight hands-on science fields from chemistry to robotics.

2017

Introducing specialised room format with dedicated spaces for Math, Technology, and more. Drones and 3D printers debut.

2018

Student science presentations begin—judged by external experts. Documentary film "Most Likely to Succeed" screening added.

2019

"Ad Astra" — Space Theme

VR/AR experiences and professional planetarium by Ohira Tech. An exhibition and workshop conducted by the Japan Space Forum.

2020–2023

Public events paused during the pandemic. Internal student science presentations continue each year.

2024 Revival

"AI & Future Technology"

Grand return with 4,000+ visitors. Boston Dynamics Spot robot, generative AI workshops, and former astronaut Naoko Yamazaki as keynote speaker.

2025

"Utopia"

Internal event featuring Shark Tank-style student pitch presentations judged by industry experts.

2026 25th Anniversary

"Infinity & Beyond -Space & AI-"

Celebrating 25 years Aniversary with our most ambitious fair yet. June 13–14 at Shiba Campus.
